Medium - Australian recycled pure uncoated copper with discarded beads being glass pearls, rose quartz, and glass crystal.
Princess Squiggle is a fun mix of pretty and unpredictable. This fun piece explores the use of beads that almost disappear into the copper pinkish colourin, highlighting the squiggles more so than the colour of the beads.
Completed during Open Studios 2023 as a demonstration piece of work, it is a versatile shape that can be used for a multitude of applications and has been designed to be utilised rather than just a showpiece.

Copper is a magical natural product. Copper does not rust however it will age if subjected to different conditons. The changing of colour in copper that can happen over many years is often desired however if the piece is polished with any of the many polishes available, then the colouring may not appear.
